This is a beautiful picture, but a little disturbing considering the history of Japanese Imperialism. That little kid is checking out a map of Korea, which the Japanese are about to rape like they did Nanjing.

A good analogy would be a German poster from the 40's, with a picture of Anne Frank saying "come visit beautiful Nazi-occupied Holland!"

One would think that a TV news broadcaster would figure out how to correctly pronounce the name of the city he's reporting on.

This was at PS1 last winter, here in NYC. The artist is Argentinian but this is often being incorrectly labeled "Japanese" around the Internet.

Ooh I just saw this at PS1. The coolest thing about it was the ability to walk through this explosion of tools. Awesome stuff.
