I love classic voyage/travel posters.
I also like the look on that mothers face. A slight bit of aprehension perhaps, as her daughter tells her she's going to travel the world and be an explorer when she grows up, maybe?

Even though its for their own reasons, thats indirectly a nice thing to do for those construction workers. Never underestimate the power of proper motivation.

Also Briannana, yep I agree they should be doing their job to the fullest and best of their abilities. In a perfect world, we all would do our very best.
lets be honest though, this is the real world and nobody makes extra effort if theres nothing extra to gain.

I liked the message.
Life is wonderful and tragic. Yet there is a certain beauty even in the sad moments of our lives. One day, like a balloon that escapes its owner grasp, its simply gone.

If real: lets find that sucker and dig it up, we'll sell it to Ripleys and make a fortune!
If not real: They didn't have to give it a package... How pervy.

I also do the "bite at one end and strip it down with my teeth" works better Imo. One handed chicken wingin for the win.
Instructions on how to eat ANYTHING though is retarded.
Eff off and take your special methods with you.
A chicken wing is pretty lowbrow, it needs no special instructions. I suppose this guy also has a special word he came up with for "his" method(named after himself of course) and an Autobiography called "Mr.Manners book of Wing".
Ugh.

I think when there are species that come in a few varieties with subtle differences, and one of those varieties starts to struggle, then YES.

Taken from Wikipedia:
400 to 450 North Atlantic Right Whales live in the North Atlantic;
50-100 North Pacific Right Whales live in the eastern North Pacific and perhaps 200-300 more in the Sea of Okhotsk;
12,000 Southern Right Whales are spread throughout the southern part of the Southern Hemisphere;
9,000–10,000 Bowhead Whales (Aka Greenland Right Whale) are distributed entirely in the Arctic Ocean and sub-polar seas.

There will still be Right whales out there, if the North Atlantic Right Whales disapear. Save their genetic information as best we can, and salute them goodbye, IMO.

Considering how Westernized Japan has become, and how different in general people there look now (compaired to 50+ years ago): I wonder if the Japanese youth of today looks at pictures like these, and wonders "Who the heck ARE those people"?
Seems like a good portion of Japanese people (at least on Japanese Tv programs) look more white than Asian anymore. Same also for a lot of anime. They use very wide eyed very "white" looking characters that are oddly... supposed to be Japanese.
Kinda makes me sad to see a culture loose a bit of its identity. I love their history. :(

I'm no scientist but that sounds pretty significant. Cats have a higher body temp than humans ( 100.5 to 102.5, humans are 98.6) Wonder how it can jump with such a change in temp? Or maybe thats normal, like i know how that stuff works. pshh.
