You're all just jealous. There is nothing like having some really good coffee. I miss being a Barrista. Making coffee is an art form. I was really good at what I did and my customers loved what I did.
Looks to me like that cat walked in broken glass, felt pain, and then went after the first person, because it was confused about where the pain was coming from.
OH NO...the government providing education! That's SOCIALISM...that dirty, dirty word. Let's hear the Teabaggers get started on that one! Don't they know what's best for ALL of us????
For all of you that are making remarks about how paddling is violent and does not solve problems...YOU SHOULD BECOME TEACHERS...especially middle school teachers. I have looked at studies across the U.S. on detention and in school suspension. There are so many kids getting detention and ISS that the schools don't have the space to accommodate them. From a young age we need need to learn that there are consequences to our actions. Giving a time-out does little to nothing.
I lived in Los Angeles for 15 years. The tap water there is beyond disgusting. I now live in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. Our tap water is palatable and safe. I don't miss buying and lugging around bottles of water. When I see people here with bottled water I just want to ask them if they are buying it just because they think it's "cool." If bottled water is not a necessity, then don't buy it! If you do buy it, PLEASE RECYCLE.
I live in Paulding County, Georgia. Every weekend we see that all of the restaurants and department stores are packed with big eaters and shoppers. It is a fact that the recession we are going through right now is now where as bad as recessions we faced in the 70's or 80's or even as bad as the Great Depression. The automakers have beens slowly going out of business for years. This recession is just now putting the final nail in the coffin. It is not secret that things have got to change. We have to stop lining the pockets of the rich. We have to pay attention to what pollution is doing to earth and try like Hell to reverse it. Most important of all, we have got to invest in education! A whole lot of us are undereducated, which only results in either trying to get by on minimum wage or just existing on what the government hands out. You are never too old to learn and you owe everything to your children to make sure they get a good education so they can have better than you had.
I too was one of the many people who hate Walmart, but Mr. Platt has made me see the other side of the coin. I get it. We complain about our workers not being paid enough. Well, the truth is that many of our workers are not very skilled. With education so readily available in this county, why should these people have to settle for such low wages?
I will say, however, that Walmart sells a lot of cheap crap! They also sell quality items. What it all boils down to is: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
Seriously people, lets invest in education and stop being such big consumers of cheap garbage.
Absolutely appalling display of ignorance. Babies smoking cigarettes is not a funny. I want to smack the crap out of those people. I want to smack the crap out of anyone I see smoking around a child. I remember as I child I would lay down on the floor while I watched parents while we watched evening television, because at school I learned that if you were caught in a fire you should get down low to crawl on the floor to stay out of the rising smoke.
My hubby has a friend who sent in some ordinary rock from the driveway painted with gold spray paint. They actually sent him a check for a couple bucks!
OH, GROW UP! This country needs progress! We've got just the man in the White House to get the job started. The last eight years are going to be known as the American Dark Ages.
