Uh, $45.95? I think most of these nutbags make their own clothes and they probably do it for about $4.00. And, of course, a few hours of a woman's time, but I'm guessing they don't put much value in that. What a bunch of absolute crackheads.
I have always used IE... just downloaded FF today for the first time. It sure got off to a good start with me by automatically bringing all of my bookmarks and settings over from IE. And Neato did load faster, at least faster than IE. And I am just realizing, as it underlined Neato, that it checks my spelling! How cool is that? sldkjfsdf <-- also underlined :) Alright, now I'm just playing around.
Here's a picture of the baseball field on the North side by Interstate 80/35: http://data.desmoinesregister.com/flooding/viewphoto.php?photoID=0825ba28-1aac-4edf-b18e-4026ed0a88f4
See the building with the silver roof poking out of the water? I drive by it on my way home every night. When I drove by it on Monday, it said:
NORTH DES MOINES GIRLS SOFTBALL
That's what it says every day, in big painted letters on the side of the building. But on Wednesday, it said:
NORTH DES MOINES [water]
On Thursday, it said:
NORTH [water]
And now you can't even see the words at all. I cannot believe this is happening in my town! It all seems so far away on the news, even in the floods of 1993 when I just lived 30 miles away from Des Moines. Now that I live here, it seems like every time I turn around there's water!
Fortunately, it's still not approaching my house. Knock on wood.
It's amazing that I have seen beaucoup documentaries and TV specials and DVD special features on Star Wars and I still learn new things about it all the time. The thrill of there being new Star Wars in the world has worn off after 10 years and I finally have to admit that the prequels stink and the old trilogy is what Star Wars really is.
Echoing comments above, it's nice to see a firepit that's dangerous even when there's no fire. It's like making a sheath for a knife, but the sheath has a blade on it too.
I live about 500 feet from the Des Moines river near Euclid Avenue and the water is getting scary-close! All of the parking lots on Euclid near MLK are totally flooded - even the new Polk County building.
No water in my basement yet, knock on wood. Even though we're so close to the river I think we're uphill enough that we will be okay. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if I could throw a rock into the flood waters from my front yard by the end of the week!
