I was in Australia last month, and I heard a lot about cassowaries, large flightless birds. Apparently the dads sit on the eggs until they hatch, then take care of the chicks and teach them how to hunt. Supposedly you can see adult cassowary males walking through the rainforest followed by their chicks. Awww. :)
