Guess ol' Jeff would have the same thing to say about this one too.

No sights and not even drilled to hold a scope. It is purty, but its not gonna be very accurate.

I guess I won't be trading in my old 30-40 Krag for one of those.

Sooo . . . does the artiste sterilize the machine between uses?

If this were a real tattoo machine using real needles and tat ink, most of the users would become converts to the First Church of Hepatitis.

Picked up the book about 6 weeks ago. It is great. Not high literature, but an enjoyable tale with plenty of Star Trek(tm)in-jokes. The action is fast and reasonably plausible. And the good guys are likable. The ones you really don't like-- well, lets just say there is justice in the Trek universe.

The "trailer" bears only a superficial resemblance to the book, but it catches the spirit of it.

Pick it up and enjoy.

I don't think he got it. The jump the shark episode was the point whare the show's writers started running out of decent ideas.
If he takes exception to the Happy Days link, perhaps he could refer to the Marcel the Monkey arrives episode of Friends. Same problem.

It is a relic of the old French Seigneurial system. The property lines along the St Lawrence River in Quebec are almost identical. Every holder of a Seigneurie had access to the river, some flat farmland and some timberland.

Hey, anyone remember the Original theatrical release of Star Wars??
There was NO RING when I saw the movie at the theater. It was added to the enhanced video release.

Of course, Plait is the man who is devoted to exposing bad science, except when he appears on Coast To Coast AM with George Noory (UFO conspiarcy HQ). :)

"Wow. I was listening to this being discussed on Coast to Coast around June."

That alone should convince us that the Bermuda Triangle(tm) is a load of dingos' kidneys!

Did they draw any connections between it and the Face on Mars(tm)?

So--
How many planes and ships have disappeared at sea where there are cows? Does the Bermuda Triangle(tm) extend to Wisconsin? ;)

This whole story seems to have been concocted from something that produces methane.
