Sweden has something like it. You pay a small sum annually and they'll pay any and all fines you might get for not having a ticket in Gothenburg (possibly other places, too, but I don't know for sure).

While I don't agree with it in the case of public transportation, I believe that, in general, public disobedience like this is very important for progress. As long as nobody is getting hurt but an outdated system in dire need of change, of course.

Cool to see the video, but I can't believe so many have issues grasping what's going on - or even believe it's not possible. It's really very simple and you can see it best in action in a video where you see a helicopter starting up. At first you'll see the blades moving 'forward', then you'll see them stand still, then they'll be moving 'backwards' - all because of how the blades' speed correlates to the framerate of the camera. Same with car wheels, or any other rotating object.

I've never heard of it here in Sweden. I honestly don't understand how it got any attention. Must've been one of Philip&Fredrik's spawns.
