Ironically, if you actually read the recipe, it calls for a packet of gelatine. It's not sweet - just a thickening agent. Obviously most people think of only the sweet, flavored jello. Which is sad...because it also indicates people don't know how to cook from scratch anymore either. I have made a crab jello mold similar to this and it was wonderful.
