I was just in Barcelona literally last week and I saw the cathedral, they've already started construction on the new part and you can see a good bit of it. It didn't look like it was as elaborate as described above, though, from what I could see it was in the same style as the original building except with newer stone.
I'm a little disappointed that they couldn't at least have come up with a slightly better name. I mean, really, "Syfy" just does not scream super special awesome futuristic robot police to me. And it should.
Pssh. Those are Emperor scorpions (pandinus imperator, for those few who care). Their vemon is extremely weak and the arachnids themselves are docile and highly unlikely to sting unless provoked. I used to have a friend who kept some around, they were tame enough to handle without being injured.
Also, the site mentioned that she was "bitten" 13 times. This is unlikely, as their mandibles are too short to reach past their nonexistant little heads. Being pinched by their claws is more likely, and speaking from experience it really isn't that bad.
I didn't really think it was attacking any religion in particular; having gone to Catholic school, I could tell you that just because a Bible was pictured says nothing about what was being taught due to the hundreds of different Christian sects that exist(I could also tell you never, ever to go Catholic school, but that's not what I'm getting at.
I got the impression that the video was merely pointing out that mental oppression of any kind is harmful, and that even when you think you have a set standard of rules you can still twist them any way you want while still believing that's you're in the right.
I'm sort of wondering what exactly the parents were thinking when they let the kid do this, but I have to admit that it is really, really awesome in a mind-bendingly weird sort of way.
