Actually, pneumothorax is when your lung collapses due to pressure from built-up gas in the lining of your pleural cavity. What Lorraine has is endometriosis- a condition where the lining of your uterus grows in other places. Though I've never heard of it growing as far as the lungs, the condition is quite common.
