El chile Grande: You make an example to all of us bigots that refrain from judging something just because we don't want to talk out of our asses.
You've here proven only cowards wait to know what they are talking about before emitting what you believe is a smart comment.
Imagine how stupid you'd fell where you to know this is a guy in a Gorilla suit, even stupider if this guy makes a living dressing as a gorilla for ads and movies. Phew!

There is a trick... there must be. Otherwise I can't imagine how so many people would be able to do the whole scene without craking up and miss a step in a fit of laughter.

m-hawk: That is because you move in a christian-centric society. Buddhists or Jews don't try to force their religion on you and muslims usually keep it to themselves (when in non-muslim countries especially).
You're confusing the atheists you've known with the atheists of all the world. The most vocal ones are the anti-christianity but this is only because christianity is the most vocal of religions. You're talking about outspoken atheists. Most of the atheists out there will keep their ideas to themselves unless challenged (like anyone).
You may notice nobody complains about religion in neatorama unless it seems we're being convinced of something. In this case trying to be convinced that because a self-defined atheist had a bad experience (which could probably be explained as sub-conscious guilt) it means atheists will go to hell (let's be blunt, that's what the post entry is saying).
Christians (and other religions, those that believe in hell) will see a moral story here. Atheists see this as propaganda. I personally see it as a cheap shot at getting discussion going.

Some of us currently pregnant are considering a name that's not the same as everybody else's. This is a pretty good reason to choose tried-and-true ones.

As H says, "Veni, vidi, vici" should be pronounced the first word as "Benny" with a V, and the other two rhyming with "Vinnie"

This is sold here in Spain both in big (which actually means HUGE, things can be the size of a bowling ball) and "snack" sizes (which is the size of a tennis ball or even less). It's my favourite kind of caulliflower but it's correct to say that you can be mesmerized just seeing. The patterns are actually beautiful. The taste is also very strong (in a good way, like concentrated broccoli with a touch of nut, and the texture once cooked is much softer and buttery).

For an example that a movie that gets shots right the recent Pan's Labyrinth clearly shows what Uberfiend mentions. The shots (or the bottle scene) are all more disturbing precisely for the lack of actual physical effect other than the death of its victims.

If anything, it's "what if Bender was one of the Laputa robots from Castle in the Sky?", a visual image without any other attempt at cleverness. The characters are specific of Castle in the Sky (the only relevant movie and the one that wasn't mentioned) but drawn in a completely different style than Miyazaki's (or the movie's).
The image is cool, but the subject and summary are completely off.
