This summer, our local hand-made ice cream shop has been featuring sweet corn ice cream and it is absolutely fantastic. It is made with fresh corn off the cobb and is so subtle, yet distinctly corn. I would order it any time!

When we visited Dachau as kids it was such a moving and somber place. Everything about it was so forbidden, awful and horrific. I think that dancing in the places of your suffering has got to be freeing and cathartic. Unlike most, I didn't tear up, I was overwhelmed and balled like a baby...but in a good way. I am very happy to replace my memories of that awful place with Mr. Korman and his grandchildren dancing.

Once upon a time I was a notary in the fine Commonwealth of Kentucky and I did indeed have to swear away all rites to a future duel. In anticipation of this, the attorney I was working with and I had a mini duel in the lobby before entering. I won and he paid for my notary application fees!
