Um, Evilbeagle...methinks you need to lighten up, Francis. It's just a story about an innovative crime, that's all. Yes, it's against the law. Yes, the law-breaker was caught. And YES, it was an innovative way to break the law. Give credit where credit's due.

I agree 100% with Ryan. Having worked with chronically mentally ill and developmentally disabled adults for many years, I saw how painful it was for people to live their lives without ever experiencing intimate human touch. It's no wonder so many of my clients were always at the doctor's office. For some, it was the only time anyone ever laid a hand on them. If it had been legal where I live, I absolutely would have driven them myself. I hope this young man, who has already been robbed of a quality of life so many of us take for granted, gets his last wish (and I hope he enjoys himself too!).
