I dressed as a male version of Wonder Woman at New York Comic Con last year. It's not as epic as the other guy in this article, but I'm still proud of my casual crossplay version: http://tinyurl.com/mt63ceg
I'd be remiss not to mention my website, ToughPigs.com, which caters to adult-aged fans of Sesame Street, Muppets, Fraggle Rock, and the life and legacy of Jim Henson.
This seems like the perfect place to plug my website! It's a blog specially for Muppet fans who grew up. And sometimes we're pretty funny, too. http://www.toughpigs.com
I run a Muppet fan blog, which has a couple other contributors as well. It's called ToughPigs.com, and it was originally started by the same guy who started the Muppet Wiki (http://muppet.wikia.com).
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Muppets are neat. And I like to write about them.
Heya Alex, I run a Muppet fan site (ToughPigs.com) and I contribute to the Muppet Wiki (muppet.wikia.com), but I've never heard that Bert and Ernie were based on fruits. What's your source for this?
It's like a stamp, but not really. It's used for etching a number into metal. You put the desired number face-down on whatever you want to brand, then whack it on the back with a hammer.
("Keep On Bloggin'" in medium)
Happy 40th, Sesame Street!
