Whoa! I'm checking Neatorama for the first time in weeks and was so surprised to realize I had just used those ATMs!

I'm at McMurdo Station for the summer season, contracted to work in the galley. We use US Dollars on station, and Wells Fargo doesn't charge a fee to use the ATMs (though your own bank may charge you). There is a station store (with things like gifts, clothes, snacks, and alcohol), two bars, and a coffee shop as well. Haircuts are free though :)
