People who dress their dogs in clothes are kinda creepy.

DaveL, judging by this and other recent comments, I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter. Amen, brother.
I encourage everyone to give $5, if not to this shelter, than to a local shelter near you. Send 'em a check or just stick a fiver in an envelope.
They will appreciate it.

Right on, DaveL!!!
I'm not an artsy-type (but I have been known to f... nevermind). So I don't agree that "This dress screams "fabulous"". Nor do I think it's "Hot" or "Fierce", nor do I think it "pops".
C'mon people... it's a BIRDCAGE DRESS. A. BIRD. CAGE. DRESS. Sometimes the ridiculous is art, but most of the time it's just ridiculous.

And if you consider what a boon to shelters nationwide it would have been if the Obama family adopted a shelter dog... what a missed opportunity.

I just wish the family would have honored their pledge and adopted a shelter dog.

There are only 2 "rules" that have any mention of christianity. One warns of those who profess their christianity too much (good advice, indeed) and another uses a CS Lewis quote to make the point that ones personal flaws do not disqualify one from their chosen beliefs. Which, when you think about it, is pretty anti-dogmatic.
I'm not a christian, but this doesn't seem to have an "christian focus" to me.

I'm just curious... which do you consider to be "bad advice" or relatable only to Americans?

Gauldar, you can't kill the half man, half bear, half pig. It will find you, and it absolutely will not stop!

Just my opinion, but Bose has made a fortune selling merely "pretty good" audio equipment at astronomically high prices.

If only Bose spent as much money on making a decent sounding speaker as they do on marketing.

To be fair, do we know that peacocks must be killed for their feathers?
Regardless, it's a hideous dress.

I agree, this is just wrong. Like getting your baby's ears pierced.

But I'm not a world traveller. As you can judge by my NPR name, Johjn Niagra-on-the-Lake.
