My son just got his Eagle this past Thursday and he's only 14. In the Boy Scout Handbook, it displays many religious awards that you can earn. Most of them are Christian, but there are also Jewish, Hindu and Moslem religious awards.

Most little girls like to dress up in pretty dresses and play with dollhouses. Most little boys like to play with guns and get dirty. That's just human nature. They can both grow up to be whatever they want.

I haven't linked any Bible verses. If you wanted to read the Bible, there are a lot in print. Have you considered the Bible? Yeah, I think you might.

Dartef, I am thinking of the children first. A person with homosexual tendencies should not get married at all. Children should be nurtured in a home with two parents, a man and a woman. I believe that religion is almost always a good thing. I believe the core values of a Judeo/Christian society keep families together and strengthen our nation as a whole. I expected personal attacks from those that disagree with me, especially from people that read Neatorama because their audience usually skews liberal. What I don't understand is why dartef would get so upset.

Some people actually believe a homosexual act is a sin. Not everyone thinks that it is okay to do whatever you want. I do not believe BEING a homosexual is a sin, but ACTING on it is a sin. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Some people are attracted to lots of odd things, but if they are able to control themselves, they commit no sin.

My son has just finished his eagle project, cleaning up an historic cemetery, painting the flag pole, flying a new flag and having a light put in to shine on it at night. He spent 239 hours. His eagle board of review is in December. He is only 14 and we are very proud of him. I feel badly for the scout in this story because he just tried to do a good thing and it ended up backfiring. (And I like Michelle Malkin.)

Yes, this is a beautiful story. It was wrong for her husband to want the daughter destroyed. It would be equally wrong if the roles were reversed and the mother wanted the girl destroyed. Yet, that is exactly what happens when a woman "chooses" to have an abortion.
