I had no idea they still made Old Spice let alone that it's so popular in the US. I wonder if they could turn it around in the UK? It's regarded as a very 70s aftershave, along with Hai Karate and Brut 33.
@Bryan Irrera: Now I do look daft, I had no idea! (Obviously) I've never read the books, thank you for the insight.
I just looked him up on wiki and it really is a lot more complicated than I imagined. He finds his lost love and finds her married to old bits of him but at least he becomes an emperor.
So when he gets his heart back he becomes incredibly depressed at what he lost? A great idea and well done, but I prefer the idea he started off as a tin man and gained something.
It's an ad, so of course it's fake. It's just more proof that supposed ad "creatives" just spend their time surfing the web looking for more ideas to steal.
That's standard procedure at our house, that sticker would make things easier. Although we get asked 'money or a trick' which just shows the UK really should leave trick or treating to he US.
Living in Cambridge I often see Hawking about the place. I was stuck behind him recently and it was amusing to see people's faces double take as they went by. They'd turn to their partner etc. with a bemused look and saying (in whatever language) isn't that ermmm....
Generally most people are used to him and he's been somewhat overshadowed now Lily Cole is here. Poor woman can't even go to Boots without being papped.
Been there too. It's more unusual if you first see it from a distance behind the trees as it just looks like a house on a hill or something. There's a lovely beach there too.
Oh, from the UK.

I'm not sure if that makes it look better, or worse.
