Steel glows orange at around 1400 fahrenheit and becomes molten somwhere between 2400 and 2700. DAMN!!!

What I thought was neat was there was no rapid oxidation like you would get from a cutting torch so you got to see the steel flow.

So when my dad was in high school he decided to buy a motorcycle. One clear sunny day he took the motorcycle down a back road in Texas and opened it up. As he was traveling down the road he hit a rock and pitched over the handle bars into a barbed wire fence and was knocked out cold. While he laid there, and old farmer came along and found him. The farmer thought he was dead, so he threw my dad and his motorcycle into the back of his truck and drove him to the county morgue which is where my dad woke up. He has never gotten on a motorcycle since and I have followed that example. Hell, I’ve fallen off my mountain bike enough times to know to never motorize that experience.

3 out of 8. I have never read them but I used to watch them religiously with my mom when I was a kid. I will always remember the Edward Gory animation at the opening of PBS Mystery!

I used to run this exact game in high school. We called it killer (it was one of the first published live action rollplaying games I think). We also allowed for things like car bombs (toilet paper tubes taped to the bottem of the car), animal attacks (I had some one hide in a closet in a gorrila suite and jump out and "kill" the guy), and poisend food (usealy a few drops of food coloring). How these kills were verified is a longer post, but we got by.

I think I saw this at Spike and Mikes twisted animation festival years ago.

...and firithlotiel, it took me a couple of seconds to discover why you are less than three :)

Ali S, I'm sure you could find a class. I took a black smithing class last year and had the time of my life. I think a friend of mine took a glass blowing class in LA a couple of years ago (my black smithing class was in Austin). Just look around at community colleges and adult education classes.
