I grew up in the '50s and '60s, so these were from my youth. I had the biggest crushes on Peter Noone and Mickey Dolenz (of the Monkees). And David McCallum, who was older, but just as popular if not more so than the ones listed here.
I've seen Mickey Dolenz, Peter Noone, and even Davy Jones in concert a number of times in recent years, in Westbury, NY. Peter's done Broadway, too. He's had a very varied career, being both an actor and singer. Mickey got his acting break prior to the Monkees when he starred in Circus Boy and Davy did Broadway before the Monkees, being in the cast of Oliver, the musical based on Oliver Twist. Of the three, Peter does the best show these days, IMO. His sense of humor and sheer energy -- he does impressions! -- know no bounds.
