While stationed at Thule, AFB Greenland some 47 years ago, I had occasion to see this great entertainer live at the base theatre. I can say I had never before laughed so hard in my entire life. I became an instant fan and greatly enjoyed seeing him on tv over the years and never tire of watching reruns of his on the local educational channel. It is a shame that so many comedians rely on obcentity and foul language to get a laugh today. The comedy of Mr. Borge, Red Skeleton and Bill Cosby are the exception today rather than the rule. It is a sad statement on the values which guide our society today.
