This is so wrong, I think the mom did the right thing by trying to get her kids in a good school, they could have told her that she couldn't send the kids there anymore, but no, they tried to make an example by prosecuting the poor woman. Did you see in the article that the school is a predominately white school. I think that she was targeted. You would not have seen this happen if the school was more diverse.
