I do like this meme though it is not funny at all if you do not know the origins of the quote and who is actually pictured.
I recently saw a pic of Steve Martin accompanied by Leslie Nielsens death notice - I felt a little dirty, but lolled anyway.

"Even those who benefitted from inequality recognized that the situation was unfair and they refused to enjoy their own reward if it meant someone else had to suffer."
If only that trait was more common in humans.

I think they are misreading the importance of the fact that animals were drawn correctly whilst humans were not. This doesn't strike me as being significant in a religious sense so much as it may have been a way to demonstrate to the warriors the best methods to kill the animals quickly. Certainly when I am trying to teach people how to do something I only detail the sections that need to be graphic whilst providing simple representations where possible. We always seem to want to make our ancestors superstitious and religious, something I really don't understand at all.

It is part of the intimate personal grooming devises for vulcans. The device comes with several different heads allowing the discerning vulcan to shape his or her eyebrows in accordance with the latest fashions.
Although the curling prongs were quickly relegated to the back shelf as being quite uncouth, this particular head speeds the process of defining the razor sharp arch and immaculately styled vulcan brow that we are most familiar with. See Spock for further information on this particularly fashionable and timeless look. Because 'logic dictates you should always look your best'.

@ECA Even a walking stick is likely to be taken by the attacker and be used against the victim.
Woman have a smaller body mass and strength and therefore should avoid getting close to their attacker - a gun would provide this advantage but is likely to see the woman charged with murder. Especially if she has not allowed her attacker to get close enough to do any physical harm to her.
@FiatVeritas Thank you for giving practical advice in such a concise manner. THIS is the information that everyone needs to be made aware of.

I think that they missed the major factor for streesful anger in younger people, a sense of idealism.
SO many younger people expect much more of themselves, their careers and their children than previous generations did.
Once if you were a farmers son, you would become a farmer.
Now we are much more driven to strive for (often) unobtainable successes and feel like failures if we are unable to juggle education + work + children, or a combination there of.
This particularly applies to younger women.
Older people have learned to accept that their children are quite alright without knowing three languages by the time they are 12, that the washing will wait until tomorrow, they can chuck a sick day without the whole company dissolving in financial ruin, and most importantly, that everyone else is just as messed up as they are.

Why do women have more of an allowance under these guidelines then men? Men tend to have larger frames and should therefore have a larger waists. (?)
I am not against the idea of introducing obese people to the resources to lose weight and become healthier, but surely the indicator would be the body mass index rather than the somewhat more arbitrary waist measurement.
As noted by doctors in the article, we are in danger of dealing over strongly with the apparent epidemic of obesity and teaching our youth that thinner is better to the point where anorexia and malnutrition will become more prominent.

Seriously, can't we just let kids enjoy their childhoods without imposing all of these unecessary dietary requirements upon them at every turn.
Moderation is a great thing to learn, and kids do need to have their diets moderated by responsible adults, but I am really tired of having two healthy young children who are forced to miss out on treats because other parents are apparently incapable of enforcing a healthy diet at home and seem to expect other authority figures to impose it for them.
