I once spent way more than a reasonable amount of money acquiring 2 custom made titanium d20s. That I then had to spend too much money having the numbers inscribed on by laser.

I also spent way too much money acquiring a full sized meteorite d20.

A D20 valentine though? That is something I do not think I could put a price on (:

I commissioned a metal smith who specializes in titanium to cut me two titanium 20 sided dice. To my knowledge they're the only two in existence. Due to the hardness of the metal, traditional inscription methods wouldn't do for the numbers, so I had them laser inscribed.

You heard me, laser inscribed, titanium d20s.

I spent more on this process than I am comfortable sharing here...

I'm going to go ahead and guess that it was a task specific hydrometer used in counterfeit detection.
