There needs to be another category for unrealistic spaceship movement/ design.
Too many spaceships look like airplanes, and 'fly' through space.

It's only as good as it's hardware, and carbon fiber can be hard to mount things to.

Sci-fi author John Brunner described this type of material in "The Sheep Look Up" - his character had a 'Karatehand' glove.

It's a chaff separator/ huller. Material is placed in the second chamber, the air from the hand-cranked squirrel-cage fan is blown through it, and chaff comes out the nozzle.

I think they did a good job. In the US they would have sprayed right over the critter.

I've been saying for some time that gas should cost $5.00 per gallon, so that the average American can understand the value of this resource and stop wasting so much.
Now, with the devaluation of the dollar, this plateau is just around the corner. The oil companies are screaming about drilling (they want ANWAR), but even if we drilled now, those fields are 5 years away from production. There is good evidence that refinery capability is the limiting factor in our production, anyway.
I think that $5.00 gas is coming soon, and that the days of $2.00 gas are far behind us.

You can use it to save gas -- the lower the acceleration, the less gas you use.

This is a FILM camera.
FILM, as in one chance at a shot, expensive to develop, and getting rarer.
If it were digital, maybe. But FILM?
Film is dying. Radiology departments are almost all digital, and are certainly distributed that way. Movies are quickly becoming digital, and are certainly distributed that way. New media is all digital anyway, and -- yep -- certainly distributed that way.
Did I mention the 3-D montrosity is a FILM camera?
:)
