How many groundhogs and gophers are killed every year by gardeners or groundskeepers? Thousands no doubt, do Peta even mention that? Nope, they go after one of the most pampered and loved animals in the country. This tells me alot about the mentality of these idiots. Peta is an embarrassment.

I do a few of these things already. But I would like to share one of my good ones too. Having a big party? Forget about the cooler or taking up all the space in your fridge. Fill your washing machine (not the front loading variety) with ice and put your drinks in there! It can hold alot of cans or bottles and its one of the cleanest places in your house. The ice simply melts away down the pipes. If you are in a hurry set the machine to wash on hot and the all the ice is gone.

This trend of complicating things to simplify them will run its course and be over in time. (I hope)

These salt trucks are full of chemicals and have an adverse effect on the ground water and enviroment. So much so that they are banned from my city and we are one of the top 10 snowiest cities in the states. We use an old fashioned method called plowing, religious plowing of the roads and also pumice or cinders which is as plentiful as dirt here. Our cars don't rust out and we dont poison the ground.
