Same here in Australia. The moon seems to appear often enough during the day. Perhaps people don't notice it because it's not bright enough to attract their attention?
I don't know why this article thinks only actors say "break a leg". Here in Australia it just means "hurry up", or "get going", and can be used in any situation which requires you to get moving somewhere.
I don't know how many websites are copying this around, but it's a bit embarrassing that they misspelt her name. It's surely Wu Songshi. You can't make the sound Sogn in Chinese.
I hated trying to work out the price of things in the US. Annoying little pennies and random unlisted taxes as you pass through states. In Aus all prices must include taxes, and everything rounds to the nearest 5c when dealing in cash.
People arguing over this reminds me of programmers arguing over how to format source code. After reading about 1000 flame wars, I can safely say that it doesn't matter, as long as you're consistent.

There are many ways to migrate to Australia, and they're just complaining that they can't do it quickly by family relation. There's just no way two people, separated by their first 50 years of life, could be considered as a family. To call this xenophobic just because they're Malaysian is ridiculous.
Perhaps people don't notice it because it's not bright enough to attract their attention?
Is it news that people are happier when they think they're better than their neighbours?
