I worked there. I didn't really see what the night crew does or anything, but they come in when I was leaving and I could hear them saying good morning to each other at 3 am when I left. But maybe those were mechanics.
But I did see them hosing down all the streets on Main Street each night. And otterly is right about the lights. They turn off some but leave a bunch of the outside lights on. Like, they'll turn off the glittering signs.
I can't imagine how nasty Disneyland gets with kids barfing and all personal emergencies. They do hide it really well.

In some ways I would have totally loved to grow up that way. But it was worrisome reading that the kids have no rules at all. Can eat anything they want and so on. I can see that being great but in the end would it really be?
And I met a lot of my friends through school.
In society, you cannot make money without school, unless you have a freak fluke. If you could get a job without a college degree somewhere, if they based it on your integrity and personality, they would be fine. And I would have done the same. I hate the school system.
But it's so impossible not to do it. Because if you don't, you're screwed. It's not because school is good or important. It's because society relies on it, now. College is important but the other things... not so much. College is good because it lets you be an expert at something.

Lordy people, quit whining. Neotorama is for anything interesting or out of the ordinary. I find this very neat, sad but neat. Why does neat have to always be positive? Oh neato, what a strange fluke! I wonder what could have gone wrong.
Maybe they should change it to weird-o-rama. Then things could get posted without any complaints. ;)
Not particularly ranting at people commenting here but every time something 'negative' is posted people whine.
