Like an extreme chastity device? Would you really want to know what elderly relatives were doing in their spare time, anyway?

Eh. I got 42%. I worked there but I don't know the history of each section and names of people who were behind stuff. I had only been there once before I started.

That's one of the saddest things I've ever seen, watching it try to walk. Beautiful and healthy looking cat. It looks like it could be happy with a good owner. But... It can't jump onto furniture.. and what if it has an itch? Ahhh :( *grew up with three cats whom I still visit*

Isn't this just stating the obvious, true of any expensive object? Person who can afford -blank- is rich, therefore potentially snotty and successful. I dislike this pop-psychology. Or maybe just pop-statistics, creating a psychological profile.

For some reason this doesn't gross me out. But it would smell bad, I think. It's just blood, it's not toxic.

It's cute, yes, except for the way it stares at you. And that is very Shadow the Colossus indeed.

I was terrified when I scrolled past this. I turned my monitor around and my husband went "GAH! What is that thing??"

I just walked outside, opened up my tent, and grabbed my two marriage books due to this post. And rummaged through them both disparately looking for a quote that I read that directly relates to this.
And I finally found it.
From "What No One Tells the Bride" by Mary Stark:
"We wink at one another and say, 'This is just the way it has always been' rather than stirring up the status quo, asking our husbands to do more, making ourselves do less, or believing our marriages are strong enough to withstand these tests. How we detest the idea of becoming a 'nag.' In the surveys I gathered, I asked brides if there was anything they said they would never do that they had already done in their new marriages, and the most common answer was 'nag my husband.' But what is nagging really? Unless you are pinching your nose and whining nasally 'Honey, this is the third time this week I've had to pick up your underwear,' nagging is, simply, demanding help. And when a man demands help, no one calls it nagging." pg 148
And I'd have to strongly agree. Unless a husband is already falling over backwards helping out and you are still whining, this nagging thing is just an excuse to put down when women expect help instead of having to do it all themselves.

eduo, what are you talking about??
"if it was done in the style of *one* --[of his]--- films" One specific film. Perhaps because Castle In The Sky may not be one of the films people know Miyazaki by, poster was just reminding who Miyazaki is? Doesn't matter, just could have added that detail of which film it was to make it a tad better in my opinion. But wouldja prefer "That scene from Castle In The Sky by Hayao Miyazaki in the style of Futurama"? :P
But I really really like having bender be one of those fly-y robot things. It's a great comparison and funny.

This applies to birds, bunnies too?
So stop freaking out. The nest looks pretty much the same after they touched it. It's not like they stole them for pets or anything.

This can probably be compared to the term "flashbulb memories".
The very vivid, traumatic memories are usually the most fabricated over the years. Was a study done on people remembering their experience of 9/11, they wrote it down, and then were asked a few years later and told it very differently. Tis inteeeresting.

It isn't that interesting but it sounds like fun.
And it would make sense to read the statement on his blog. That he is not bitter, but wanted to deal with the remnant wedding dress in a humorous way.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Although--- wedding dresses are expensive, maybe there would have been a better use.
I would have made it into a glittery quilt.

Hrm. I didn't consider this horribly shocking- the image anyhow. Yucky, no doubt. I've seen worse footage on TV on a dog mauling a woman. Things like 'worst shark attack' kind of shows. Pictures of the damage. Poor puppy. Must have been very alarming trying to rush to the vet. Glad it survived.
