Norteast Arkansas a few weeks ago was getting a lot of earthquakes that were going up to 4.3 nd they suspected it was due to shale oil drillers putting the waste water back into the ground. They made them stop for 2 weeks and the quakes went wany down. Now its permanently off on drilling til they study it more.
