Interesting article. It's misleading, though, to say Scruggs recorded the soundtrack for Bonnie & Clyde. This implies the songs were recorded specifically for use in the movie. The Flatt & Scruggs tunes used in the movie (especially Foggy Mountain Breakdown) were actually recorded around 1949, and later co-opted for use in the 1967 film.
