I saw the pic on shorpy too, and they mentioned some pictures released a few weeks ago that show him in front of nice green foliage that doesn't fit the season. Hmmmm, don't think he's exactly up and about.
I agree that it's an interesting idea except for the fact that regular incandescent bulbs are going the way of the dodo. If it was simply a piece of artwork making a statement it might be more accepted.
