"Spiderman Sam Raimi"?!? I've never seen the Spiderman movies, but I still think it's funny that he's known for that. I've seen the Evil Dead movies more times than I can count, and everything else he's done (don't forget Hecules and Xena). I named one of my dogs Raimi.

When we find a cat at our place we take them and have them fixed, if they don't seem to be treated well we usually keep them or take them to the Humane Society. I'm not really concerned with what the owners think about it. If they were taking care of them they wouldn't have that problem.

I've never had cats outdoors, it's just a dumb (and rude) idea if you live in the city. I now have 10 acres though, so some of them live outside. And someone new is always showing up.

I notice a difference here, I always hear Republicans say things about how Dems are going to feel stupid when they lose, and things of that sort. "I" didn't lose in 2000 and 2004, the country did. I didn't feel stupid, I did think slightly less than half the country was. I'm not worried about "losing", I'm worried about my country going under.

After watching the Republican convention I'm convinced most Republicans think they're still in high school.

If you read the comments on that story some of them are from people who claim to have been there and they tell a very different story.

I was just reading earlier about how biased reporting is and how everything is sensationalized.

I thought that actually made her more likable.

It's good to know that all the people who criticize the amount of money spent never do anything foolish with their money, and send it all to starving children instead. Bravo!

And of course you should get upset and call her names, she has more money than you! Who does she think she is? Everyone should just wear a shawl over their face and head and not be so vain.

Rooney's right, but it applies to most of modern life. How much of our lives is spent paying for or maintaining the things that make our lives "easier"?

It's amazing how some people want to be rude and ignorant, and claim anyone who calls for politeness to be "PC". So unless you're being a jerk you're being "PC". I'll be that then.

I don't really have the "kids are cute" gene, but I didn't really think this was funny or cute. I kept waiting for the funny part.

maybe az used to be a cubs area because for some reason there were hordes of people that came to az from that area in the winter. there were snowbirds from all over, but it seemed like half of them were from illinois, and lots of people I knew growing up were from there.

I always heard that most of the south was cardinals territory until the braves moved in, and that was a major dispute because the braves were going to take away some of their fans.

I have it too, since last year. I don't think this is uncommon, although not as common as lasik because it's more expensive.
