I wonder how they came to decide that marijuana was a viable option? Hopefully through good research. I too do not see the difference, ethically or legally, between using this drug as opposed to any other prescription pharmaceutical. If it is being used because it is the best option, based on sound reasoning, then why not?
The agency that approved the adoption would have to question if there is a flaw in their vetting system. I agree with most folks here, admitting that it is a mistake is probably best for the child, just as long as it is now MUCH harder for these parents to adopt another child in the future.
Some folks, regardless of their ethnicity and background, just seem to believe they have the right to do or say whatever they want, irrespective of the consequences and the effect it will have on someone else. We now live in a society where people will tend to only value their own opinions, and have a ready medium to express them, however ill-conceived and boorish they may be. When we look at the behaviours of our leaders, public figures and big-business over the last 20-30 years, it is not surprising we have gotten to where we are. The big question is, what are we going to do about it? We all have played a part in getting this low, now if we want any improvement, then we all have to make at least a small change in our own behaviour. So, I pledge to be a little nicer, and a little more tolerant of others, from this point on, and to turn off and not engage with people and entertainment who choose to spout profanity and abuse.
The heat and the glare generated from an entire strech of road would be stunning - literally! Rainy days would make them as slick as ice, or do we all stay home when it rains, as less power will be generated? It's not a viable solution, but what the research turns up, may well lead to one.

Surprisingly, Steven Segal is a lot better than I would have thought.

Always looking for a new way to go out and get pickled.
