In Britain, Europe, and Japan there are no notes for the dollar equivalent (1 Euro, 1 Pound, 100 Yen). In Japan the smallest bill is worth more than $10. I never have a problem there though, because their vending machines take everything; Their stores take all legal currency, etc. In America its likely the manager will call the police if you try to use a $2 bill or dollar coins. Ignorance and Idiocy here is astounding.

I believe those are low flow shower heads. That is, they are spraying a smaller amount of water and compensating with higher pressure.

From the top results of two Google searches:

"average top loading washing machine uses 43 gallons of water"

"Ultra-low-flow heads conserve even more, using only .8 to 1.5 gpm"

Assuming 0.8 GPM for each faucet used, that's 1.6 GPM. He could run it for 26.8 minutes to use equivalent water to one load in the washing machine. Washing machines also consume electricity.

It may not be plausible but it is possible. There are almost 7 Billion people, implausible things do happen. These events wouldn't make the news if they were extremely plausible.

I'm guessing the average poor rural Russian doesn't want to waste money on preserving something you're never going to see again, and it wouldn't be necessary if burying within 48 hours.

@FrogC4,

Yes the current model was performing slower. However, it can perform 24/7 without rest, breaks, pay, or benefits. It would never go on strike, call in sick, or sexually harass a coworker.

Production models would move quite a bit quicker. It needs something to maintain the position of the bag, if it moved to quickly the bag would just fall off. It could potentially pack hundreds of times faster than a human hand.

It appears they are using wax food model (common in the front of Japanese restaurants) condiments to demonstrate the device just as they are using towels instead of real meat.

From the video:
"The demo used a compact robot hand to scoop up and transport complicated forms >resembling< a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise"

Notice the video cut after he squirts the bottle. Notice that the liquid does not run or drip when held upside down or sideways. Notice the edges curled up on the table. They are using quick drying red and white gels to demonstrate the device.

However, a device capable of picking up and moving items without altering their relative position would be useful in a factory setting. It could pack materials that currently have to be packed by hand. It's just a sales demo to demonstrate that capability.
