I used to use cursive for my signature, but now it's just a quick scrawl. There's no point in me being neat about it. I might as well use a big X instead and in the US... you /can/. So, beyond an excuse to use cursive what's the point of a signature anyway? If all we really use cursive for is our signatures, we need a better option than cursive.

Yup. In California there are actual housewives and househusbands and college brats still living at home and every now and then you'll find people who are chronically unemployed and /some/ of those people don't have anyone to support them! ...*sigh*... yay news...

Looks like an easy metal shop project for the kids. The handle end could be converted into a combination bottle-cap opener, can opener, and lanyard. ...which means there'd be two sharpened ends, so that's a ninja weapon there, buddy... :3

True as true can be: if you listen to the 'one small step for man' recording BACKWARDS you'll hear two natural reversals: "man will spacewalk" and "remember Vietnam" (the 'nam' in 'Vietnam' is pronounced with a short 'a' like you'd expect him to have used). If you think that's cool, forget all about that backwards-masking bull and look up 'reversed speech'. It's a natural phenomenon normally produced by the human brain during highly emotional events and little tiny kids are actually babbling their native language in reverse! I'm serious! Try it out!

This article is only being circulated because of the tightened global economy. And yeah, if it makes people angrier they'll be more likely to kill each other, so ya know, get out your aluminum foil beanies and head for the nuke shelter. Whatever. If you eat the healthiest food you can get, spread your intake out across five to seven small meals (snacks) a day, exercise, avoid unnecessary stress, leed a balanced lifestyle (mentally as well), etc., YOU'LL STILL DIE, but at least you'll be happier when you die. Maybe. At least, that's what I've been told. Can't tell you from experience. :3

D Bozko, I'm married and she's the one earning the paycheck. She works from home and gets about 20 to 30 hours per week. We aren't suffering, but it's tight. We're both 37 and she has both a degree and gobs of experience, yet she's never made more than 12/hour. Working from home was what she wanted all along and apparently that's enough for her, which is great. I'm happy to see her being able to relax. We don't spend much at all. We know where to get overstock and distressed food. Since neither of us are driving around town all the time (vehicle's broken anyway) we aren't wasting money on fuel. Rent and utilities where we reside are decent. I'm sure there are cheaper places we could live, but there's an expense in moving to a cheaper place we cannot currently afford (we need the vehicle fixed first). All other expenses for us are little drops here and there. Nothing big at all. I'm just saying, on 15k a year we're doing fine... but 63k a year? Good god... I know from experience that isn't the average. Well, maybe if you chopped out the lower-class then maybe, but no way is that the average in the US.

That was one of the first things on my mind, Cellania, when I saw that image: where the hell are these people getting all that money? I live on 15k a year! If I had 63k a year I'd be living on easy street! How many people actually see that kind of money in one year?
