@Jon A. - If you read the article in the link, and watch the video, you will see that it is, in fact, a Weighted Companion Cube that was built in Minecraft and then printed on the 3D printer. The cube in the Minecraft world is absolutely MASSIVE, allowing for the detail reflected in the 3D printed version.
