Actually, yes, those were my father's fireworks, having served in the army and saved a big stash.

Not bad. IE as a dead horse is perfect. But 'add-ons' are just that; something you add on. Firefox isn't any more complex than the other browsers.

Honestly, most white people don't understand racism. Even my friends. I'm not trying to insult anyone commenting here, while this subject obviously got me in a bad mood. But I really do think the person who made this video and those who awarded the prize were fairly clueless about how it might be received. A couple months ago KFC put out an TV ad with black people being placated by fried chicken. I'm 100% certain those who made the commercial thought it was cute. They were wrong.

I appreciate the calm response and information about the tribal behavior of the Maori people, but the ad is still blatantly racist.
It's great that educated people might know this information but advertisements are for audiences and audiences are not educated.
If you aren't educated about New Zealand culture and if you ARE educated about western imperial condescension and racist iconography, that video is a total mess.
Navites grunting and shaking spears at the all powerful white god and then bowing in deference. If you are too erudite to recognize that most people will see that you are checked out of mainstream reality.
Of course, the reality is that most people aren't aware of either side of this argument and will just think it's cute. And I'm not arguing that it's going to cause any major problems. But I certain know there are a lot of racists down under.

That video is explicitly racist toward the native people of New Zealand. Grunting natives with spears who bow to the big white man who created the island? Are you kidding?

WRONG!!!
The term is decades if not centuries old. My father has been using the joke since at least the 40's.
Please don't assume that everything some 25 year old thinks they know, or everything you find on a discussion board on the net, is true.

You can't claim valid theory by ignorance. Santa Claus doesn't actually exist till you learn otherwise.
And chupacabra is rural hokem.
Why?
Because there is ZERO possibility that a skeleton of the purported species has never been found. Zero, as in false.
I'm into cryptid sightings and I like finding it here on this site. Love this site.
But this is reporting 101. It's a 'reported' or 'perported' or 'supposed' chupacabra. These words indicate that the term is that of the subject and not the author.
Does the author think it might be a chupacabra? Hope not.
