Make sense. The way I see is more that people in the USA are so controlled by the government that everything which is permitted you guys do the most intense as possible. In california / San Francisco where I lived not so much but in Pittsburgh - PA where I lived for a while was horrible you can´t do almost anything. I felt in prison all the time.
This type of freedom you can only feel if you are not american or if you lived in another country for a long time.
