I haven't figured out the part about not using your PIN at an ATM and something about the HIV virus, though. :(

I am loving the grammatical slant on some of these posts today!
My peeve: LOTS.
Lots are things you park cars in.
The term is A LOT.
This has bugged me forever. A few years ago I saw a billboard for a car dealer and it simply said, "We have LOTS of cars!" I about died from laughter. Come on! That's funny!

Yep. I use them all the time, too! I'm also a big fan of ellipses.

Did suggest a banana and a dog are the same thing?
The reason this man felt the need to get this dog home is because he fell in love with it. The idea that he should just leave it behind is horrible. Some people have no heart.
Hey, it's going to cost money to move your kid from California to New York with you. It'd be more practical to leave it behind and get a new one. That's about how ridiculous some of those arguements are.
Some people seem to have no heart.

I made my husband peanut brittle and little chocolate haystacks made from those crunchy Chinese noodles. He got me...nothing. Not even a damn card.

NOTE: Phew. I looked it up and Mr. Toad's wild ride is still at the original Disneyland park.

They got rid of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? What what what??? Someone should be fired!
I also miss the old submarine ride (haven't tried the new one, yet). And I was partial to ADVENTURE THROUGH INNER SPACE, too.
By far my favorite attraction when I was young, though, was America Sings. That's the probably the one you're thinking of, Lauren. It was very patriotic. I really miss that ride.
I miss Disneyland all together. We're not too far away, but it's always so packed that it's just not worth dealing with the crowds. I think I'll wait to go back until we have a kid.
In the meantime, Knott's Berry Farm on a non-summer midweek day is where it's at! I've never waited in line on a non-summer midweek day. In fact, there's been whole sections of the park where we've wandered around and not seen a soul. I love Knotts.

This kind of makes me hate him. How disrespectful to all the people who enjoy the Star Trek saga. Blah. What a jerk.

I get what your point is, though. It is indeed NEAT that people can be more interested in world affairs than in watching a couple screw on a dead bear or some teen angster ranting about Britney or some such nonsense.
