When I was in Japan I saw a place that would do it for 2700 Y, ~$35. They also sell little curved sticks you can use to scrape and scoop out the wax yourself.

So the link with this and the Titanic is that they are both boats that were (at least partially) submerged. Yet this is only a small part of an empty boat that went underwater. You know, compared to the hundreds who died when a massive liner sank.

Separating the outlet and plug with a thin piece of plastic like that is dangerous. The plug should always stay snug against the outlet. If anybody is going to make one of these, the bottle should hang ON THE WALL above, below, or next to the outlet, never between the outlet and the plug.
