I love it when people brand themselves. Excessive piercings, ridiculous tattoos, inks, etc... all perfect for announcing "I am retarded". Great early warning system to better aid me in slamming the door on their faces if I ever see them.
I'm being serious, too. I can express myself just fine without looking like some halfwit savage.
I'm divided on whether or not I wish blindness or horrible infections on them; my tax dollars would have to pay for that, but on the other hand it'd give me the warm fuzzies. I'd have to think about it some more and get back to you.

It is not nice to -take- animals from nature, but if one finds itself in your lap and you wind up taking good care of it, why should you push it away if it -wants- to stay? There are some exceptions when dealing with rarer species, but I hardly think that something "common" that was raised with people should be forced out in an environment it doesn't know how to deal with.
The real problem lies with irresponsible ownership-- keeping something inappropriate or not taking proper care of it. I've seen a lot of people who take in wild baby birds and then kill them via malnutrition (white bread soaked in milk, anyone?). There's also a problem of taking in something you just can't handle. Sure, a baby rabbit is cute now, but will you still love it when it grows up and lives as long as a cat does?
I share my flat with a starling (they are an invasive pest in my area so I was allowed to keep her), and she is just wonderful. They make far better pets than what is currently offered in pet stores-- they can learn to mimic sounds, they can't bite or hurt you like a large parrot, and they're very pretty. My only complaint is she can't really eat the food I can buy in stores; I've got to make it myself. She'll make a mess with her baths too, but that's more cute than annoying. She's celebrating her 5th birthday this summer :3

How is this different from hermit crabs and coconut crabs? Is the difference that an octopus is squishy and cuter than this http://blog.rifftrax.com/wp-content/photos/coconut_crab.jpg ? (Please note: coconut crabs have outgrown their coconut-wearing stage by the time they are that big)

Ugh, tigers > peasants. I may not be popular for voicing that, but there are an awful lot of people and not an awful lot of tigers.
Glad he got prison time as a reward for this.

Nope. Cameras do not really depreciate in value, so offering (say) $20 to return something worth many hundreds is not going to help encourage people to bring it back if they are mean enough to keep it in the first place.
"Guilt tripping" with pictures a la Andrew McDonald is the best way to go; baiting people by offering a pittance for a good deed could be seen as condescending.

lol, homophobes. It's kinda funny how mad some people will get when someone else finds happiness of a different flavor.
Honestly now, they're not demons. There is nothing sinister about wanting an older son; at least adults are mostly past that annoying teenager state where all they do is scream at you.

Can't view because noods are NSFW (and guess where I am right now), but I hope they featured that furry wedding where everyone dressed up in animal mascot costumes in a horror park on Halloween.
And furries often wonder why everyone hates them so damned much.

@ Larfin Jackarse:
I think they are talking in terms of Japanese beauty standards. They really love colorful fish, so I don't think this kind would be very popular in the pet industry unless very briefly and for novelty purposes.
That said, I'd want one and would love it to pieces.

Excuse me? Aren't most poor people poor because they make poor choices? Why is this my problem now? I don't want to spend higher prices at my grocery store because some self-righteous Jeebusfreak is stealing from the frozen food section. I get enough of that with the standard shoplifting crowd as it is.
I give to one charity and one only: mandatory taxes. If my government does not think you deserve to be on their aid programs, then there is probably a reason for it.
I've been on government aid myself when I was between jobs; I can vouch for it being sufficient for people who live responsibly.
Religion is such utter shit anyway. I hope this gathers a lot of negativity.

Not funny. Vaguely cute, but rings too much of decapitated babies (as the rest of their bodies are CG).

Please go back to art school, one that knows what it is talking about. You are utter rubbish. It's because of people like you that art no longer means anything. It used to mean the conveyance of a thought or emotion, now it just means doing stupid things to get attention. It matters not if you paid (or didn't) for the window you broke. Proper art requires skill and thought to execute. You just broke something and are now angry that people are laughing at you.

Um... Estes rockets... aren't those like this type? http://www.oakridgehobbies.com/media/catalog/category/main_rocket.jpg
Coz I've played with those during summer camp when I was 16. They kind do have explosives in them. Maybe not like TNT, but the whole idea is to zap them with an electrical charge so they catch fire and shoot up in the air in a rush of flame and spark. Right? I'm at work and can't watch YouTube, but the image sure looks like mine did; all fiery.
Now, what -is- safe about this? Not that I really care about this guy or anything, but it irks me that he seems to think by saying "it's not dangerous" magically absolves him of any risk to personal or private property.

Concerning this "gettin a master in computer science"; you must understand there is a big difference between going to school and then actually getting a job afterwards. Being in school does not automatically assure you of employment. Many (smart) students who earn degrees wind up working McJobs for years or return to study in other fields, so let's not give credit where it's not yet due.
If you think you can impose your weird self-expression on your employers, good luck. The world just doesn't work that way yet. Personal appearance still counts for a lot, even in jobs where you do not work with the public. Employers everywhere would rather hire people who do not appear to live for the moment or make rash choices.
And honestly, given your language and typing skills, I would not even hire you to clean up my desktop or dust my tower. I'd rather hire someone who isn't too lazy/ignorant to hit the apostrophe or shift keys.
