An example is the bars. In good times drug dealers would hang out in the watering holes waiting for the people with jobs to get off work to buy their weed, oxy's or coke. Since business has dropped by a third in the these bars the dealers are not around as much. This in turn has reduced the prostitutes, petty thieves and scam artists that prey on the neighborhood.
