It kinda looks and sounds (and reads) like a pressure cooker with a little tray sitting in it. I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use a pressure cooker of your own (you can get little trays). One flaw is that they do tend to make the foods taste a bit like each other if they are cooked together. I don't mind that, but it is worth realising

You seem to have the wrong idea about available refresh rates. LED screens for desktops and laptops/notebooks regularly run at 100-120 and can come in refresh rates twice that (or more). Active shutter type 3D tech relies upon it for example.

Samsungs had IR blasters for a while a few generations ago. Never caught on. It'll be interesting to see if they do via Apple

I do hope this sort of info doesn't make anybody think the actions of others in modern times (like the UK PM's advisor who detoured on his way to isolation after his wife and someone he recently visited with tested positive .. and on his "in breach of don't travel" trip to his country house to quarantine with the family also took a detour to sightsee at a castle for example) can be excused at all. There is a HUGE difference between not knowing and not wanting to know.

A nice idea... but it seems like a way to spend a lot of money to fix an issue that is already mostly fixed by something much, much cheaper. A properly used (food intended) thermos flask/container (heated with boiled water first) will keep things hot for between 8 and 10 hours. And if you had access to boiling water as this seems to suggest then you could use two and heat the other/swap between the two for longer.... and they are a fraction of the cost. As in $20USD will get you a very nice one. (ooh wow, they reckon the "ultimate" ones will keep hot for 24 hours)
