The 10,000 hour rule is .. a joke. It is someone trying to self help idiot style inspire by using a study on something else. It was self reported "how much did you practice" survey results to people who.. were already good enough to get into a violin academy. Wildly inaccurate. Wouldn't want to "run on" (in)to poblems! I've seen much advice to try to keep sentences to a single clause. Which isn't always a simple idea; despite being a simple sentence. They say to not do so can compound problems. And your sentences.
