Snappy P. Fish's Comments
I found the story of this man profound, and I am grateful to Neatorama for leading me to it. I don't mind a mix of the weighty and ephemeral. Thank you.

Oh my God!
You are so right! It is quite shocking to see an example of a combover that actually succeeds! Truly, the only one in existence. It's kind of unfortunate, really, in that it is fuel for every other balding man to persist in the delusion that their combover looks anything other than farcical.
As Vandoo says above, "Concede the recede." Full Disclosure: I have kept my hair short ever since it started thinning. There are a lot of things about aging that are great. Embrace those guys, and don't be tempted by combover denial.

L, So what? People you perceive as having a different opinion than you must have personal reasons clouding their judgment? Before you start with the ad-hominems on other commenters, please consider their arguments and deliver your own. For my part, I've been considered thin my whole life.

The Venus of Willendorf and Peter Paul Rubens would both like to point out that in the past, when scarcity of food was more of a universal issue, fat was considered a sign of health.

Mr. Pratwick has learned 'how not to be seen.' He could be anywhere of a hundred places in the scene. Mr. Pratwick, please wave to the camera....
Mr. Pratwick had not learned the second rule of 'how not to be seen,' never wave.

It would be less cruel for the natives to rig a giant underwater slingshot that would fling the whale through the air and onto the shore.

Ya, this does not seem in the spirit of Neatorama past. I don't visit for my daily dose of cruelty, even of 'less cruelty.'
In response to the poster below, what are you thinking? Of course these same people would be upset to see a human thrown to their death or their harm. I think the law would also be concerned in that case.
I'm with Ted who posts "That’s crueller than poison because it’s done for entertainment. If you really have a squirrel problem, you only need to whack it on the head with a shovel. But I guess you can’t put that to cool music." Shovel-whacking in particular may be a bit difficult, heh, but he made his point.

Ya, I found the autoplay extremely jarring. Please simply provide a link to the game page. I have to say, I'll rue visiting Neatorama until I don't have to turn down my speakers before the audio barrage begins.
Neat game, though.

To me, it looks like the above image has been photoshopped a bit. I think three photos of the same animal at different points during the same yawn have been combined. Aspects of the front paws first made me suspicious. What do you think?

The period at the end of the above link messes it up, try

I should give a better link to the Practical Fishkeeping Dyed Fish Campaign page, it's not linked from the home page.
