It annoys me when I read criticism of this site. It's free, informative and entertaining. If you've seen the story before then just move on to the next one! Why do you feel the need to moan about it?
"The woman patient, who is believed to be in her late 70s, is understood to have complained to the trust."
The patient complained to the trust.
If she had asked for a prayer and the nurse had agreed there would be no complaint. That would be patient-centered care.
The patient expected the nurse to treat a leg wound...not to provide spiritual support.
I can imagine a patient thinking that maybe the nurse knows something about their prognosis that they don't...'you need my prayers with your condition'.
...but I'm complitely drunkj and had no truble solving thoose problems...it wouldn't stop me talling my boss what a bitch she is. How about a typing trst?
630am to 930pm Use 3 of the 4 lanes?.... but from 330pm in the second lane you'll meet traffic coming straight at you from the opposite direction! No wonder I hate driving.
When I was a kid we were told to jump up and down (in our underpants) in front of the school nurse; if we wobbled too much, then our parents were told we were too fat. I wobbled a lot.....and I still do. Merely pointing out obesity does not in it itself solve the problem.
In England we do say 'burger'...but it refers to just the meat (I think you call the meat a 'patty'...which to us is just a girl's name). Hence...to us the item is in the shape of an American burger.
The way a society treats its animals is pretty indicative of the way it treats its citizens.
In the West we stun animals before slaughter. In the East (you can find the video evidence on the net)- dogs are piled-up terrified in wire crates and then butchered in front of each other. There is a lot of violence and a lot of pain- and that can only debase a society.
Sid, Your interpretation is the same as mine...he used to fire his wife out of the cannon when he was in a circus; now he loads it with the wooden planks (those which join rail lines together), to shoot at delinquent youths.
What an idiot.
At least it's not as bad as I first thought...that the catapult contained his own poo.
Anyway, they're just trying to sell a magazine, with an attention grabbing headline...and a friendly jab at the Aussies.

Disturbing.

Now that would be a deterrent.
