It's not a complete joke. There could be future applications based on this knowledge for drying objects during manufacturing by using vibration instead of heat and air. You could also, theoretically, use vibration on a very small scale to transfer fluids for nano-technology or cooling electronics or something to that effect.

Hooray! I was there for that. Best part of the whole game. The only bad thing was that he went for the target at the expense of his legs. I can't watch the video at work, but if it shows the view from the stadium, he comes down pretty hard.
