Interesting article but not 100% accurate, the final verdict was that the recovered seeds were not 100% Montreal Melon but a hybrid cross with the nutmeg melon. Got a freezer full of seeds, never able to grow one more than 10lbs and even that was a summer of 24/7 effort.
