You can get the same affect by staying at the Disney hotels and getting the "early entrance" package. We once rode Space Mountain four times straight. Didn't even have to get off. It was a nice couple of hours.

In high school we did our senior trip to Disneyland and rode the rides all night, that's pretty cool as well. That was back when we still knew what an "E Ticket" ride meant...

But half the fun of Diney parks is the crowds. I don't think it would be much fun to be there without at least some other folks around.
